NEWBURG TOWNSHIP (WKZO) — A Jones Michigan man has been upgraded to fair condition after he was airlifted to Bronson Methodist for emergency treatment after a violent collision with a tree in Cass County.
Deputies say that 50-year-old Kenneth Duke was westbound on Born St. just after 2 a.m. Saturday when he lost control of his vehicle and went off the road.
He had to be pried from the vehicle.
He was not wearing a seatbelt.
Tests are being conducted to determine if alcohol was a factor.
