TEKONSHA, MI (WTVB) – Another earthquake has sent tremors though the ground in Southwest Michigan. The United States Geological Survey has confirmed that an earthquake, registering 3.3 on the Richter scale, occured at 11:42 a.m.Tuesday and was centered about 12 kilometers northeast of Union City, or near Warner Lake in Tekonsha Township.
The earthquake, although weaker than the 4.2 tremor that occured on May 2, 2015 southeast of Kalamazoo, was still felt across southwest and south central lower Michigan.
There is no word yet on any damage.
