BLOOMINGDALE (WKZO) — Charges will not be filed against either driver in a collision between a Van Buren County Patrol car and a civilian vehicle last month that injured four.
The Deputy was racing to backup another deputy with his lights and sirens on.
When he tried to pass the civilian car on the left at exactly the same time the civilian driver decided to turn left into a driveway, the two collided.
All of the injured will recover.
State Police investigated and sent their report to a special prosecutor who ruled it an unfortunate accident, and did not elaborate.
