GENESEE COUNTY (WKZO) — An alleged school-shooting plot in Michigan has been derailed before the first bullet was fired.
Three teenagers have been arrested and charged with planning to carry out mass shootings at Linden High School and Linden Middle School.
Argentine Township Police Chief Dan Allen says they got a tip about the possible plan on October 28th, the day before the assault on the two schools was supposed to take place. He says their investigation into the threat revealed that it was “serious and credible”.
The three teens are facing felony charges of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder and false report or threat of terrorism.
The oldest-boy is 18-year-old Ryan Stevens, a former Linden Student.
The two other suspects are 15-year-old juveniles and live outside the district.
The FBI has joined in the investigation, but it’s not clear if Federal charges will result.
