KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Western Michigan University football will look to get back on the winning track Wednesday night on the road against Northern Illinois.
P.J. Fleck, the head coach of the Broncos, says he’s impressed by the Huskies’ freshman quarterback Ryan Graham, who threw for two touchdowns in his first collegiate start against Buffalo last week.
“They just continue to plug the guy in,” Fleck said. “I think they have a wonderful system, I think they teach it really well, and they’ve got explosive players behind Ryan on the outside, they’ve got an very experienced offensive live, and they’ve got a tremendous, stout defense.”
The Huskies are in first in the MAC’s West Division.
Kickoff in DeKalb is at 8 p.m. The game will be carried on 96.5 WZOX-FM in the Kalamazoo area.
