KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Very cold temperatures and wet pavement could result in slippery conditions this morning on some side roads and rural roads.
Most of the main roads should be in good shape, and the view should be as pretty as a winter postcard.
Kalamazoo got over nine inches of heavy snow over the weekend and Battle Creek got a foot. Some of it melted as it initially touched the ground, particularly warm pavement.
To some it came as a shock.
“Who’s ready for this compared to, like, two weeks ago when we were out in shorts?” One person said.
Hardware stores are watching snow blowers and shovels fly out the door. ire stores should do very well this week.
