BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — Investigators in Battle Creek are trying to figure out what sparked an fire on the second floor of a home on Highland Avenue that caused around $20,000 damage.
Firefighters were called to the residence on Highland Avenue just before 5 p.m. Saturday, and were forced to stay at the scene for around five hours.
No injuries were reported. It’s not clear if the owner of the home was there at the time of the blaze.
