SPRINGFIELD (WKZO-AM) — Icy road conditions are being blamed for a head-on two-vehicle crash on a railroad overpass in Springfield that injured a 37-year-old woman.
It happened before 7 a.m. on Dickman Road. Calhoun County Sheriff’s investigators say a westbound vehicle, while trying to avoid another vehicle, lost control and drifted over the centerline, slamming into the woman’s car.
She was rushed to Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo after being cut from the wreckage by firefighters.
Her current condition is not known.
