KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Four commencement ceremonies are set for Saturday at Western Michigan University.
Spokesperson Cheryl Roland says over 2,600 seniors will pick up diplomas.
“For undergraduates, we have just over 2,000,” Roland said. “There will be 571 receiveing master’s degrees and another 39 receiving doctoral degrees.”
Each senior was given four tickets for their specific ceremony at Miller Auditorium, but Roland said the school will also accommodate those without tickets for this weekend.
“We do have a site with a large screen where people can gather and watch the commencement ceremonies,” Roland said. “It’s also available online.”
The first ceremony starts at 9 a.m.
