BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — The Calhoun County Land Bank says it’s going to use another $125,000 grant to demolish 10 blighted buildings along Jefferson, Albion, Oak, Chestnut and Erie streets.
The Battle Creek Enquirer reports the money will come through a program from the Michigan Land Bank Fast Track Authority.
The agency received a $125,000 grant in March to knock down 13 derelict properties near Albion College and the city’s downtown area.
