HOMER TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A 26-year-old Union City man was arrested on Wednesday morning following an investigation into a drive by shooting on Christmas Eve in Calhoun County’s Homer Township.
The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department says a vehicle in a driveway of a private residence was shot last Saturday morning. No injuries were reported.
Deputies stopped a vehicle that was suspected to be involved in the incident on P Drive South near 28 ½ Mile Road.
During the investigation a handgun, marijuana and open containers of alcohol were found in the vehicle.
The suspect from Union City was arrested and lodged at the Calhoun County Jail for carrying a concealed weapon, possession of marijuana and open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
