BERTRAND TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — Berrien County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a head-on collision that killed a woman from Galien.
They aren’t saying which driver was responsible for crossing the centerline on U.S. 12 near Sage Road in Bertrand Township before 7 a.m. Thursday, or whether it was due to icy road conditions.
Luann Woodrick, 55, was pronounced dead upon arriving at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Ind.
The driver of the second vehicle, 52-year-old Jeffrey Norman of Granger, Ind., suffered minor injuries.
