ALLEGAN (WKZO-AM) — A man accused of shooting his girlfriend and two children, then setting their Allegan County mobile home on fire will spend at least the next 55 years in prison.
Corey LaValley was sentenced Monday after pleading no contest to second-degree murder charges in January.
Prosecutors say he shot 33-year-old Debra Sheppard, 12-year-old Emma McComber and 10-year-old Corey LaValley Jr. on March 11 of last year, then set fire to the Dorr Township residence the next day.
