COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A strong storm early Tuesday evening delivered heavy rain and knocked down numerous trees and power lines in the Coldwater area.
The storm came through at about 7:15 p.m. Despite the stormy weather, no watches or warnings were issued by the National Weather Service.
National Weather Service observers reported a one to two foot diameter tree was uprooted and fell on a garage causing substantial damage. There were several reports of limbs and trees downed on power lines and at residences.
The storm also resulted in over an inch and a half of rain in just one hour in LaGrange, Indiana.
