SOUTH HAVEN (WKZO-AM) — The body of a missing South Haven man has been found in Barry County and police are suggesting that it may have been a homicide.
Matthew Ahmed Morin had been reported missing on Monday. Friends say he was depressed and left without his medications.
The search ended when a body was discovered Tuesday partially buried near Delton. Pathologists used fingerprints to positively identify the body as Morin on Wednesday.
Detectives are waiting for autopsy results on the cause of death which could come Thursday, but foul play is suspected. South Haven officials confirm they are holding a person of interest on unrelated charges.
