LANSING (WKZO-AM) — Governor Snyder has signed a bill sponsored by Oshtemo Republican Brandt Iden that will add a checkoff box on state tax forms to contribute funds to Junior Achievement.
Iden says he has been involved with J.A. for a long time and it beat out over a dozen other organizations seeking a spot on the state form.
He says the Governor is also a big supporter of the organization because he participated in it as a student in Battle Creek.
It will join about ten other non-profits that are eligible for funding through the check box.
