BATTLE CREEK (WTVB) – A Calhoun County man could get up to 240-years in federal prison after his conviction on child pornography charges.
44-year-old Jeffrey Cox was found guilty of manufacturing child pornography and exploiting children in his home in Albion. He was convicted by a federal jury on seven counts of child exploitation and two counts of possession of child pornography.
The crimes occurred between 2012 and 2014, according to the U.S. Attorney’s office, which says he lured seven children into his home, groomed them and then sexually abused them on camera.
His trial lasted six days. Cox will be sentenced in late September.
