QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Quincy Police, the Branch County Sheriff’s Department, Indiana State Police and the FBI were all involved in the investigation Tuesday afternoon of a robbery at Century Bank and Trust’s branch in Quincy.
The robbery was reported to Branch County Central Dispatch at 3:23 p.m.
In a statement issued by the bank, an unarmed individual robbed the bank of an undisclosed amount of money. There were four employees in the bank at the time and they were praised by Century Bank officials for handling a very stressful situation with what was called amazing professionalism.
Only drive through service will be available at the Quincy branch today as police are conducting a follow up investigation.
A Sheriff’s Department K-9 was brought in to assist in yesterdays search. Undersheriff Keith Eichler says there were two suspects involved.
