QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Warrants have been issued by the Branch County Prosecutors Office for two suspects in Tuesdays robbery of the Century Bank and Trust branch in Quincy.
Police are looking for 32-year-old John T. Morgan and 29-year-old Nickole Nora Collins on charges of bank robbery and conspiracy to commit bank robbery.
An unarmed man walked into the bank at about 3:20 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon and demanded money. The bank said in a statement that he got away with an unknown amount of cash.
The couple was arrested last month in Williams County, Ohio after the Michigan State Police said they were wanted on felony warrants for possession of heroin and marijuana.
Authorities are trying to determine if the robbery was connected to a rash of robberies that have taken place in the area over the last few months.
Quincy Police have been assisted in the investigation of Tuesday’s robbery by Michigan State Police as well as Sheriffs Departments in Branch, Hillsdale and Williams Counties.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of John T. Morgan and Nickole Collins are asked to call their nearest law enforcement agency.
