COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Community Health Center of Branch County Board of Trustees approved the hospital’s 2017 Operating Budget Monday night.
Chief Financial Officer Connie Downs said the budget contained costs for the hospital. While wage rates increase, benefits will be frozen.
With the operating income projected to shrink a half percent from $1.1 million in 2016 to over $879,000 in 2017, Hospital President and Chief Executive Officer Randy DeGroot said the budget was reflective of the environment they are operating in.
The board also approved a land transfer agreement as part of the process for the future purchase of the hospital by ProMedica.
The agreement now moves forward to the Branch County Board of Commissioners for their consideration.
