CONSTANTINE, MI (WTVB) – Three teenage boys were taken into custody Tuesday after Michigan State Police say they were involved in three St. Joseph County home invasions.
State Police say several home invasions took place in the 68000 block of Lutz Road. A caller reported that he returned home and found his home ransacked but nothing appeared to be missing.
The state trooper investigating the incident learned of a possible suspect in Constantine.
Constantine Police along with additional troopers found the three teens. Their investigation revealed stolen property from the Lutz Road residence as well as the discovery of two additional home invasions in the area.
A 17-year-old boy from Milford, Indiana was arrested on home invasion, larceny in a building, possession of marijuana and minor in possession of intoxicants. He was lodged in the St. Joseph County Jail.
Two 15-year-old boys, one from Milford and the other from Constantine, were charged with home invasion and larceny in a building. They were turned over to the custody of parents and legal guardians.
