BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — Police in Battle Creek are looking for the person who stabbed a 40-year-old during an attempted break-in at a home on Corwin Street.
It happened at around 6:20 a.m. Friday after the victim, who was standing outside, noticed the suspect trying to get inside his residence.
The victim is hospitalized in stable condition with wounds to his stomach and one of his arms.
Police say the suspect is a 5-foot-9 male with a low-cut beard. He was wearing jeans at the time of the incident.
A tracking dog lost the suspect’s scent, according to a press release.
