KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — The Kalamazoo Valley Museum is holding its annual Safe Halloween event this weekend.
Director Bill McElhone says there will be plenty of spooky things at the museum this Saturday for kids of all ages.
“We’ll have hands-on craft activities that kids can do based on our special exhibit on sustainable shelters, but it’s haunted houses,” McElhone said. “But before then, we’ll start at 11 a.m. with nighwalk planetarium shows on the half-hour.”
There will also be a spooky space flight.
“It takes advantage of our Challenger learning center,” McElhone said. “We get that all decorated for a special space mission to Mars.”
It runs until 4 p.m. McElhone says tickets are required to enter some of the attractions, but those tickets are free.
