CAMDEN, MI (WTVB) – The identity of a Hillsdale County murder victim has been released.
Hillsdale County Sheriff Tim Parker says the victim has been identified as 37-year-old Jeremy Alan Barron of Hillsdale.
Parker says detectives and evidence technicians obtained fingerprints while attending an autopsy on Tuesday in Toledo.
Detectives brought the fingerprints to the Michigan State Police Crime Lab where the positive identification of the victim was determined.
Barron’s body was discovered in a wooded area near Dimmers and Gilmore Roads in Camden Township just before 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon by some Amish children who were riding their horses.
