BATTLE CREEK (WKZO AM/FM) — There are several things that are unique about Battle Creek’s newest restaurant.
The Fire Hub is located in Battle Creek’s restored fire station # 4 at Kendall and Dickman.
It’s owned by the same Native American tribe that owns the FireKeeper’s Casino. 80% of the profits will be distributed to local charities and it has a food pantry for the poor at the same location.
One other difference…the Governor appeared at the Grand Opening.
Rick Snyder grew up in Battle Creek and hopes it will make his hometown a stronger city.
