BATTLE CREEK (WKZO AM/FM) — A routine traffic stop on S. Washington just before 1:00 Saturday morning in Battle Creek could result in prison time for two Battle Creek men, because the officer became suspicious of the behavior of the two people in the mini-van.
The search produced a loaded 9-mm semi-automatic handgun.
The two occupants turned out to be ex-cons and were booked into the county jail for carrying a concealed weapon, being felon in possession of a fire arm and an additional gun felony.
