KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM)– Today is a scheduled election day in Michigan but the polls will be closed in Kalamazoo County and the poll workers will be staying home. There is nothing for voters to decide.
In Calhoun County voters in Burlington Township will decide a $2.3-million bond issue for road improvements.
Voters in South Haven have a single city council seat to fill. Lawton schools will be deciding whether to renew the standard 18-mills that all districts charge for commercial properties.
Voters in Barry County are being asked to approve 7/10ths of a mill to fund special education. Voters everywhere else can take the day off.
