MUSKEGON (WKZO AM/FM) — A Fremont man has been charged with a grisly murder that spanned three townships, leaving body parts in two of them.
29-year-old Anthony Blamer Jr. reportedly told police that a fight over money and a struggle over a gun left 24-year-old Anthony Keenan dead.
It was a day later that detectives say he returned to the scene of a crime in Muskegon County with a chainsaw and sliced the head and hands off the victim, dumped the Torso in the Chrystal Trails area in Newaygo County, and left the hands and head in a plastic bag in Oceana County.
Then they claim he threw the chainsaw into a swamp.
The two men met a year ago in the Muskegon County Jail.
Blamer has been charged with felony dismemberment and concealing death in Newaygo County. They are still wrapping up the investigation in Muskegon County, where he is expected to face additional counts.
