VANDALIA (WKZO-AM) — Authorities are asking for the public’s help to find a missing Cass County woman.
Police say Ramona Huffman left her home in the village of Vandalia to walk to a local gas station around the corner after 9 p.m. Tuesday when she vanished. She has not been seen or had contact with family or friends since then.
They say she has health issues and did not take her medication with her. They can’t be sure if she is voluntarily missing or has become the victim of foul play.
Family members attempted to locate her for several hours before notifying the Cass County Sheriff’s Office. An official search using vehicles, K9s and a drone also failed to find her.
Huffman was last seen wearing gray pants, a black shirt and a peach-colored zip-up sweatshirt. She is five-foot-six, has brown hair, blue eyes and weighs approximately 175 pounds.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Cass County Sheriff’s Office at (269) 445-1560.
