BURR OAK, MI (WTVB)- The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a man who they say ran away from them Monday while they were investigating several suspicious vehicles in the area of Kelly and Carpenterson Roads in Burr Oak Township.
They say one of the drivers, 36-year-old Corey Robert Roggow, fled from them and ran into a wooded area on foot.
A Michigan State Police K-9 was brought in to help in the search for Roggow but at last word he is still at large.
Deputies were also assisted by Sturgis Police.
The Sheriff’s Department says Roggow has multiple outstanding warrants for his arrest out of St. Joseph County as well as a suspended license.
He is known to frequent the Burr Oak area. Roggow is described as a white male who is six-foot-three and weighs 200 pounds.
He has brown hair, green eyes and a goatee. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Corey Robert Roggow is asked to contact St. Joseph County Central Dispatch at (269) 467-4195.
