COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A third suspect has been charged following a methamphetamine bust by the Michigan State Police at a home on Hawley Street in Quincy just over a month ago.
31-year-old Mary Marcella Legg has been arraigned on two methamphetamine-related counts as well as charges of maintaining a drug house and possession of marijuana.
Her bond is set at $100,000 with ten percent allowed. A probable cause hearing was scheduled for next Tuesday in Branch County District Court with a preliminary exam on January 17, 2017.
Co-defendants Glen Batten of Kalamazoo and Michael Whitlow of Fremont, Indiana were arrested at the time of the bust. Branch County Court records indicate a trooper had gone to the home to inquiry about a man who was wanted on a warrant.
The 29-year-old Batten is facing two meth related charges after he was accused of having meth in his backpack. His bond is $500,000 due to his past criminal history.
Whitlow was charged with being in possession of pseudoephedrine.
