UNDATED (WKZO-AM) — We are getting all kinds of weather this week in Michigan…did you hear the thunderstorm roll through.
Monday be had an ice storm for a while in southwest Michigan
While it wasn’t nearly as severe as they felt over the weekend in the plain’s states, and it didn’t cause the massive power outages usually associated with ice storms, it made driving dicey for a while and tied up traffic at times on I-94 and U.S. 131. Then it melted.
The Icy weather has cancelled school in those mid-Michigan counties where temperatures remained just below the freezing mark.
It’s expected to be above the freezing mark in the southern counties for the rest of the week, even overnight with a high on Sunday in the 50’s.
It may be possible this weekend to golf in the morning and ski in the afternoon, if you don’t mind the drive.
