MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department says there are no signs of foul play after the body of 30-year-old Nathan Sykora of Marshall was recovered from the Kalamazoo River on Wednesday night.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death but the Sheriff’s Department says he had known medical issues.
Marshall Police were notified at about 6:00pm of a boat rotating in a circle in the river near the 700 block of River Street.
The trolling motor was on but there was no occupant. A family dog was still in the boat.
