BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The 48th Annual Bronson Polish Festival kicked off Thursday night in the air-conditioned comfort of the St. Mary’s Gymnasium.
Crowned King and Queen for this year’s festival were longtime Bronson residents, and in-laws, Duane and Patty Kubasiak. For the curious: Patty married Duane’s brother. Nathan Caudill and Joci McMichael were named Prince and Princess, while Landon Hyska and Sophia Reed were named Junoir Prince and Princess.
Highlights of Friday’s schedule include Kids Day festivities at Douglas Park from 10am-noon, Delbert Walling and Haley Houtz performing at 6pm at Memorial Park, and a Talent Show starting at 7pm at the Community Foundation Building, the old Bronson Theatre. The Festival wraps up Saturday.
