DOWAGIAC (WKZO AM/FM) — A Paw Paw woman faces new drug charges, including trying to sneak drugs into the Cass County Jail after she was picked up on an outstanding narcotics warrant.
It’s not clear if that was her intent but that is one of the charges after a more thorough search at the jail produced a substantial amount of crack cocaine, more than they claim she would use personally, hidden on her person.
Officers from the Cass County and Van Buren County anti-drug squads stopped 35-year-old Brooke Collins near Dowagiac Wednesday.
She is charged with possession with intent to deliver crack and bringing contraband into the jail and is being held on $12,000 bond.
