COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Dry weather is in the forecast and that is expected to bring out a large amount of classic cars this weekend for the 30th annual Swap Meet and Car Show at the Branch County Fairgrounds.
Event Chair Dale Parshall said they wound up with 1,169 cars last year. He says the show has been well received by classic car owners and organizers make the show family friendly.
The show will include a blessing of motorcycles, plenty of vendors, a muffler rap and the annual cruise through the streets of Coldwater which Parshall says will start at 4:00pm on Saturday.
The route for the cruise will be north on Jefferson and then west on Chicago before the cars turn right on Marshall. They will then turn left onto Grand and then go north to Bishop. They will go west on Bishop before heading south on Western before turning east on U.S. 12. They will turn right onto Jefferson and head back to the fairgrounds.
Parshall says about 140 volunteers will help put the show on this weekend. The show has attracted a large amount of local sponsors.
