QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – In addition to the bond and millage issue for the Coldwater Community School District Tuesday, there were also ballot questions for voters in Quincy Township, Algansee Township and the Tekonsha Community School District.
Quincy Township voters were split on a pair of ten year levies of 1.25 mills for police and fire protection.
They turned down the police protection millage 291-274 but approved the fire protection millage 316-249.
Voters in Algansee Township turned down a half mill levy for ten years to maintain and purchase fire apparatus and equipment by just ten votes, 122-112.
Tekonsha Community School District voters approved a $1.8 million bonding proposal 214-127. The funds will be used for the remodeling of school buildings which will include roof replacements and improving technology equipment.
