UNDATED (WKZO AM/FM) — There are several places in the region offering free Thanksgiving Day meals to low income, lonely and elderly residents today.
Theo’s and Stacy’s in Downtown Kalamazoo has been doing it longer for most. This will be their 40th year. They will be serving from 11:00 to 3:00 pm.
The Gospel Mission will serve thanksgiving dinner from 3 to 6 pm.
The North Park Reformed Church on Barney Road will serve from 11:00 to 1:00 pm and will deliver to shut-ins who call before 10:00 am on Thanksgiving day. (269)-492-7764
For the first time Jac’s Cekola’s Pizza at 7638 S. Westnedge in Portage will offer a Thanksgiving meal from 11:00 to 4:00 p.m.
In Battle Creek, The Fire Hub Restaurant on Kendall Street will offer a free Thanksgiving meal and a salad.
There will be a meal for the poor at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Paw Paw from 12:00 to 3:00pm.
Schoolcraft United Methodist Church will once again offer free turkey dinners from 11:00 to 2:00 pm
The First United Methodist Church in South Haven will offer dinner from 1:00 to 2:00 pm
The Marathon Gas Station in Pullman will also be serving free thanksgiving meals beginning at 3:00 pm.
