BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – A couple from Bronson is behind bars after being busted for allegedly running a drug house which had been under investigation by Bronson City Police since last spring.
36-year old Anthony Haviland and 31-year old Tia Marie Haviland surrendered to authorities at the Branch County jail yesterday morning. Both were charged Wednesday in District Court on a trio of charges, delivery manufacture of marijuana, felony firearms, and controlled substance maintaining a drug house.
An internet search for the suspect’s residence on Winona Street in Bronson listed their address as the location for Haviland Janitorial. A Corrections Officer at the jail said a warrant naming the Haviland’s signed November 16, 2017 indicated the date of the reported offense was May 22, 2017. Further details concerning the charges have not yet been released by Bronson Police.
$25,000 cash or surety bonds for the two suspects were set yesterday at their arraignment with their next court date for a probable cause hearing scheduled for December 7, 2017.
