PAW PAW (WKZO AM/FM) — An alleged drunk driver caught in Van Buren County could get life after his seventh arrest, but at least the man police say is a menace to society will spend some time in jail instead of on the roads.
Deputies say that A 43-year-old Bangor man was all over the roadway, nearly hitting their cruiser when they tried to pull him over. They say he was driving on a license that was revoked in 2008.
The Deputy who stopped him, could smell the alcohol the moment the suspect rolled down his window, after he pulled over along M-43 Sunday evening.
Yesterday at his video arraignment, the judge denied a request for a P.R. bond calling the suspect a flight risk.
