LANSING (WKZO AM/FM) — Lt. Governor Brian Calley will bring his traveling “All Voices, All in” roadshow to Kalamazoo next week, as he continues to take the pulse of the state on a possible campaign for Governor.
So far the reaction of the state has been lukewarm at best. Polls show Attorney General Bill Schuette with a huge double digit lead over Calley and all other announced and potential candidates, among Republican primary voters.
Calley’s proposal to create a part-time legislature and the announcement of these town hall meetings have yet to generate any groundswell of support for Calley.
He has already held the sessions in Grand Rapids, Detroit and Lexington.
His Kalamazoo event will be next Wednesday night October 25th, at 6 pm at the Cityscape Event Center on the Kalamazoo Mall.
