QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Michigan State Police say alleged embezzlement by an employee of a Quincy car dealership that was reported a year ago has resulted in a suspect turning herself in at the Branch County Jail.
The owner of Bluezers Cruzers contacted the State Police about the case and filed the complaint in October 2016. A warrant sought by the State Police was signed by the prosecutor’s office October 6, 2017. 44-year old Katherine Kay Foster of Fremont, Indiana surrendered at the jail in Coldwater on Friday.
According to authorities, Foster was a purchasing agent at the dealership and is accused of stealing almost $50,000. She was booked on a preliminary charge of embezzlement and released after posting a $20,000 bond.
Foster’s arraignment in Branch County District Court is set for November 13, 2017.
