ALBION (WKZO AM/FM) — Calhoun County Detectives are still investigating but they have formally charged two men who were involved in a shooting in Albion Friday night, and a high speed chase across Calhoun County that followed.
Rodney Davis and William Google are being held for assault with intent to do great bodily harm after they were involved with a shooting in an Albion home that left Jeremiah Ballenger with a gunshot wound to the leg.
Ballenger was able to give police a good description of their car and it’s was spotted on I-94 and chased into Battle Creek, where it blew a tire leading to the arrest of Davis and Google.
Davis has also been charged with fleeing and eluding.
They are being held in the Calhoun County Jail. Ballenger is recovering at home.
