SHERWOOD, MI (WTVB) – Michigan State Police investigated a one car injury accident last night in Branch County’s Sherwood Township. The crash was reported around 9:45 p.m. on M-60 near Blossom Road west of Union City.
According to Branch County 911 Central Dispatch, a man who lives in Sherwood was driving alone as he lost control of the 4-door vehicle when a tire came off the car, which went into a ditch.
LifeCare Ambulance and the Sherwood Fire Department responded to the scene although the driver, who complained of back pain, was not taken to the hospital. About an hour following the accident, the trooper who covered the crash took the man home.
The driver’s name wasn’t released.
