BATTLE CREEK (WKZO AM/FM) — The National Cereal Festival in Battle Creek will have a new organizer this week and they already have some changes planned.
The Cereal City Development Corporation will be taking over the annual event with a financial boost from the Battle Creek Community Foundation.
They will be adding some new musical entertainment and moving the World’s Longest Breakfast Table to McCamley Street between Hamblin and State Streets to bring attendees closer to Festival Market Square where there will be vendors and a farmer’s market.
They are currently seeking corporate sponsors, vendors and taking nominations to be Festival Parade Grand Marshal.
The Festival as always will be the second Saturday in June.
