PINE GROVE TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — Van Buren County Deputies say it took them 90 minutes to free a man from his car, after he crashed the black Lincoln sedan in the 20,000 block of 27th Street in Pine Grove Township at late Monday afternoon.
Crews dispatched to the scene found the luxury car on its side in a cluster of trees, the 30-year-old driver from Bangor was trapped inside the wreck.
Once they pried and cut him out of the car, they loaded him on board a Life Ambulance for the Trip to Bronson E.R.
They found drug paraphernalia in the vehicle and will order blood tests. They suspect he may have been under the influence.
The condition of the 30-year-old from Bangor has not been released.
