FAWN RIVER TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Three Bronson youths escaped with minor injuries early Monday morning in a high-speed St. Joseph County crash.
The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department says the accident happened at around 2:30 a.m. at the curve on Plumb School Road east of Big Hill Road.
Authorities say the 18-year-old driver was going too fast when he missed the curve, went off the road and flipped the vehicle.
The driver and front seat passenger were buckled in, but the back passenger was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The driver was also cited for driving too fast for conditions.
The names of the three persons were not released.
