MARENGO TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – An Albion woman had to be freed from her car late Thursday afternoon after it wound up in some trees and dense brush off of Michigan Avenue near 21 Mile Road in Marengo Township.
The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department says the 37-year-old woman began to suffer from a previously diagnosed medical issue when the accident took place at about 5:20 p.m..
Deputies also say she was driving to fast.
Seatbelts were worn and the airbag deployed.
The woman’s name was not released. She was removed from the vehicle by the Marengo Township Fire Department and was transported to Allegiance Health in Jackson for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
