NORTH ADAMS, MI (WTVB) – A six year old boy from North Adams, who was said to be in danger, was found safe and sound in downtown Detroit Saturday night.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department had been looking for Justin Eidenier who was in the company of his father. 38-year-old Juston C. Eidenier was taken into custody without incident on an unrelated felony warrant.
The youngster is now in the care of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
Sheriff Tim Parker says they were in contact with officials from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the FBI to assist with the search and investigation.
Deputies managed to use cell phone technology to obtain real time locations. The father and son were eventually located at Little Caesars Arena in downtown Detroit at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday night by Agents from the FBI in coordination with information provided to them by the Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s office was also assisted by Hillsdale County Central Dispatch, Michigan State Police and Detroit Police.
