COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) -An effort to recall Branch County Prosecutor Ralph Kimble may have failed for now due to a lack of enough petition signatures but Kimball’s problems are far from over.
WWMT-TV in Kalamazoo is reporting that the state’s Attorney Grievance Commission has leveled seven specific allegations of sexual harassment against Kimble, some of which are quite graphic.
A commission hearing is scheduled for late June, and Kimble will have to answer to those allegations at that time.
There could a range of outcomes, from acquittal to disbarment and loss of license.
Kimball has denied the allegations against him, including those that were filed by former Prosecutor’s office employee Evon Staley in a sexual harassment lawsuit which is scheduled to go to trial in January 2019.
